Two Former Vapers Talk Flavors in New Video
In our latest video we showcase two former vapers who share their journey to nicotine addiction . Their stories highlight how flavored e-cigarettes, with their sleek designs, tempting flavors and high nicotine content can quickly lead to a “chokehold”. Although NYS banned the sale of flavored e-cigarettes in 2020, loopholes in the law have led to their continued sale in many retail stores.

Reality Check members create video for Seen Enough Tobacco Day
Reality Check members created a video exposing the dangers of nicotine and flavored tobacco products for Seen Enough Tobacco Day, an annual awareness day which falls on October 13. The “scary” video was shown at the Albany Boys and Girls Club Haunted House on October 25th to warn attendees that “nicotine is the ultimate brain eater, turning sharp minds into zombie mush one puff at a time.“ The video ends with “Stop the Sale of Flavored Vapes.” While NYS banned the sale of flavored e-cigarettes containing nicotine in 2020, they continue to be available in local stores due to loopholes in the law.
